$ 93$ 465

The beautifully crafted Neo-Gothic building of the Central Telegraph Office was designed by  two master architects – J. Trubshawe and W. Paris. The construction of the building was completed in December 1872. This beautiful structure was Bombay’s General Post Office (GPO) until 1913, when it officially became the Central Telegraph Office. Today it is used as an office complex by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL).

Located on Veer Nariman Road by the Flora Fountain circle in Fort, the historical Central Telegraph Office building has been restored to its former glory in recent years.
