Hotel Majestic and Waterloo Mansion Year-1909 (Code: 010) – Photo Print in Wooden Frame

$ 93$ 160

Once considered to be one of the city’s best hotels, the Majestic Hotel with its domed minarets, was designed in the Indo-Saracenic architectural style by WA Chambers.  The erstwhile Waterloo Mansion, which was then built exclusively for residential purposes, is now referred to as the Indian Mercantile Building. Its architectural style is Gothic with turrets, pointed arches and black stone façades.

Located near the Wellington Fountain Circle (or Regal Circle), the two structures became the most photographed pieces of architecture in the city and were frequently featured in postcards of the early 20th century.
